Shriram Transport net profit up 59 %

CHENNAI: Shriram Transport Finance has achieved a profit after tax of Rs. 236.81 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009, against Rs. 149.31 crore, a growth of 59 per cent over the corresponding period in the previous year. Revenue has grown by 18 per cent to Rs. 1,167.88 crore from Rs. 991.23 crore. - Corporate Reporter
